Rental Bikes
We have all kinds of rental bikes at our Portsmouth, New Hampshire store to get you rolling any which way you choose. We have hybrid rental bikes that will get you all the way down the new rail trail or out to the ocean. There you can check out probably the best coastal views all along the Eastern Seaboard (we may be biased)! We also have some super-comfy Turbo Como e-bikes for a super-smooth, upright ride anywhere you want to go. They are limited to Class 1 (20 mph max), so they are welcome on the NH Seacoast Greenway and all local roads (aside from places you don't want to be, like I95, Route 16, and the Route 1 Bypass).
We also have more premium carbon road bikes (Giant Defy Advanced) with hydraulic disc brakes for your long-range road adventures, and carbon drop bar gravel bikes to get you further away from civilization. We even have a fleet of carbon full-suspension Turbo Levo e-bikes to really amp-up the fun-o-meter. They are also Class 1, and welcome at all the local trails, from Fort Rock (Exeter) to Mount Agamenticus (York, Maine), to Stratham Hill Park or Bear Brook or FOMBA.
We are happy to make route suggestions. All of us love to ride, and we all know some hidden gems.

Rental FAQs:
Q: When can I pick up and drop off my rental?
A: Rentals are available for pickup and drop-off during our normal shop hours.
Q: What bikes do you offer for rental use?
A: We offer a variety of hybrid, road, mountain, and electric bikes. Please use the tool below to see current models and available inventory.
Q: Can I have components swapped out on rental bikes?
A: We can swap pedals (and have many pedals systems in stock for rentals). But fitting services and component swaps are not available on rental bikes.
Q: Can I get a helmet or a lock for my rental bike?
A: All road bike rentals include the use of a helmet, lock, CO2 inflator, spare tube, and tire levers. All hybrid rental bikes come with racks and a trunk bag can be added to those rentals at a cost.
Please note that all rental bikes must be returned before our shop closes on the final scheduled day of the rental. When available, bikes may be picked up at the end of the business day prior to the scheduled rental.
