Proven ENVE gravel wheel technology comes to the Foundation family with the AG25. Ready for high-speed adventure. - Intended Use: Gravel, Bikepacking - Inner rim width: 25mm - Recommended Tire Size: 36mm – 50mm - Tubeless Optimized; Tube Compatible Preparation is key to a successful adventure into uncharted territories. Our experiences developing and riding the flagship G Series and M Series have created a quiver of performance enhancing features that have been incorporated into the AG25. Features like our patented Wide Hookless Bead, tuned carbon materials, external nipples and our Foundation Road Hub all come together for a gravel wheel that's more than the sum of its parts. It's ready to take an already exceptional bike to a level of even higher performance and higher fun. Wide Hookless Bead Flat Protection Goodbye to pinch flats: The cringe-inducing impact between rock and rim is something we've all experienced when the desire to shred trail overwhelms our better judgement. Unless you're running too much tire pressure, that impact will typically result in a pinch flatted tire. Gravel Ride Tune By using on board data acquisition equipment and aligning it with subjective test ride feedback, our laminate design team have refined the AG25 to deliver a ride quality that is both responsive and compliant, supportive yet forgiving. - Shallow rim depth of 21mm allows improves vertical compliance and vibration damping - Rim cross-section and laminate optimized for responsive power transmission and cornering stability Built to Shrug Off Your Bad Ideas So, you've decided to descend that mountain bike trail on your gravel rig. Or maybe you didn't have a choice, it was the only way to get from point A to point B. No worries, we encourage it. Which is why we've designed and tested the Foundation AG wheels using our proven M Series impact testing protocol. The result is a wheel that inspires confidence when you need it the most, even when you aren't looking for it. External Molded Nipples Reliability first, serviceability also first: By employing ENVE's patented molded spoke hole technology and configuring it for external nipples, you can rest assured that you're riding a wheel that's been built for reliability and serviceability when you need it most. Enve Foundation Road Hub Utilizing ENVE's core hub technologies the Foundation Road Hub delivers a high performance, maintenance-free ride experience. - Flange spacing and hub shell geometry designed to maximize performance metrics such as wheel and drive stiffness - ID360 40t drive mechanism delivers efficient and responsive power transmission - Maintenance free premium full contact sealed NTN steel bearings - Perfect Preload USA Made, Protected for Life It's no secret that we at ENVE are proud of our U.S. based manufacturing capabilities. Like all our rims, the Foundation Collection and its AG25 are handmade and assembled in our Ogden, Utah based, state-of-the-art carbon wheel manufacturing facility. The AG25 is covered under ENVE's Lifetime Incident Protection program and 5 Year Factory Warranty.
What It Is The SES 3.4 AR is the embodiment of the modern disc brake-only road wheelset. Aerodynamically optimized for high-volume tires (28 - 32mm), lightweight for long days in the mountains, high volume for all roads, and arguably the most versatile wheelset ENVE has ever made. Science & Insight In 2016 we launched the SES 4.5 AR, a wheelset ahead of its time. Since then, road riders, frame manufacturers, and tire makers have all caught the high-volume vision which has propelled the one-of-its-kind 4.5 AR to be our most popular wheel in North America where the high-volume all-road movement has gained the most traction. As more bikes are created that can accommodate tire clearances up to 32mm, we saw the need to create a more versatile, climber-friendly SES AR wheelset, and the SES 3.4 AR was born. Points of Differentiation - Real-world aerodynamics, optimized around 28mm to 32mm tubeless tires - Wide, Hookless Bead Anti-Pinch Flat Technology - Disc brake-specific materials and construction - Low weight leader in category - Tubeless-only design
ENVE's most well-rounded road wheelset, the SES 3.4 is a climber with an aero edge. It's just the right depth to cover steep grades at speed. Since its introduction in 2009, the Smart ENVE System 3.4 has established itself as ENVE's most versatile and consequently most popular carbon fiber aero road wheelset amongst road cyclists of all abilities. The new SES 3.4 is wider than its predecessor (27.5mm wide external, 21mm internal) to improve rolling resistance and improve aerodynamics for use with 25mm tires and is available in both rim and disc brake models. In addition to added width, the versatile and reliable nature of the SES 3.4 has been augmented by incorporating road tubeless tire compatibility. Road tubeless compatibility means improved rolling resistance, comfort, traction, and a reduced propensity for flat tires. Like all SES models, the SES 3.4 features dissimilar rim shapes and geometries between front and back wheels to maximize aerodynamic efficiency and rideability in variable weather conditions. The front rim is 38mm deep and shallower than the rear rim to aid in crosswind stability while the rear rim is 42mm deep and therefore improves overall airflow attachment. - Intended Use: Road - Inner Rim Width: 21mm - Aero Optimized Tire Size: 25c - Rim and Disc Brake Models Available - Tubeless Optimized; Tube Compatible DISC BRAKE TECHNOLOGIES GO FAST; STOP FAST: The SES 3.4 Disc features a disc brake-specific carbon fiber rim design. In other words, this is not simply a rim brake model with no brake track. Each SES Disc rim features a disc brake-specific laminate to ensure optimal performance on disc brake-equipped road, cyclocross, and triathlon bicycles. As a result of disc brake-specific engineering the SES 3.4 Disc is substantially lighter than its rim-brake counterpart but equally as stiff and impact resistant. This is accomplished because we are able to deploy the carbon fiber that previously served the requirements for heat management to now serve the requirements for stiffness and durability. Need to know: - Disc-specific construction with no brake tracks - Rims are lighter by 40-60g per rim - Impact resistance increased - Greater lateral stiffness TUBELESS COMPATIBLE SPEED, COMFORT, PROTECTION: Greater speed, comfort, grip and puncture resistance – what's not to like about road tubeless? With the selection of a high performance tire at the right pressure, you can achieve lower rolling resistance and more speed. Tubeless also allows you to run much lower tire pressures for far greater comfort, traction, and efficiency, especially over poor road surfaces and gravel, all without sacrificing speed. The potential for pinch flats and, with sealant, debris punctures is all but eliminated. ENVE recognized early that road tubeless technology is here to stay and we drew on our years of experience making the world's best mountain bike wheels to optimize the SES range for tubeless (excluding the current SES 4.5). With rims going wider and frames giving more tire clearance, the key aspects of bike design were aligned to make tubeless the best choice: wider rims make it easier to mount tubeless tires. Disc brakes add even more benefits for tubeless, typically allowing larger tires as well as removing issues of heat at the rim. Need to know: - Tubeless optimized design - Faster rolling - Higher grip - Greater comfort - Outstanding puncture resistance
